For the 8" height, I recommend leaving one table at the 8" height and not trying to adjust it. The Joints are close together, so they are easy to put together, but difficult to take apart at the 8" size, even though it is possible with strong hands and proper tools. Plus, when the 8" table is fully assembled it is actually a little over 9" from ground to table top. The other heights adjust more easily.
